The mission of the Indian Beach Police Department is to serve the community with professionalism, pride, and integrity. We will respect and protect the rights of individuals and enforce all laws and ordinances in a fair and impartial manner and preserve the Constitutional Rights of all citizens. We will work with the community to prevent crime, loss or damage to property, protection against criminal attack, and preserve order in public places.

The Indian Beach Police Department is comprised of full time officers and reserve/part time officers. All officers are dedicated to protect the quality of life for its citizens and visitors alike 24 hours a day.
The Chief of Police is available to speak at all annual home owner association meetings on topics of safety, security, motor vehicle law changes, or any topic requested. At least two weeks notice is required and must be in writing.

This service is available to all year round Indian Beach residents.
Beach Driving Permit
Beach permits will be sold from 9:00am - 12:00PM daily 7 days a week. You must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. NO EXCEPTIONS! The cost is $30.00 and is good for beach driving season which runs from September of the current year to May of the following year and is good for Indian Beach only.
Golf Cart Inspection/Registration
Golf cart registration and inspections are conducted from 9:00am - 12:00pm daily 7 days a week. You must have proof of insurance for the golf cart. This must be presented to the officer.
